OUR ARCHIVES
OUR ARCHIVE COLLECTION CONTAINS THE RECORDS FROM OUR FORMATION IN 1876 AS THE BRITISH WOMEN’S TEMPERANCE ASSOCIATION, TO THE PRESENT DAY AS THE WHITE RIBBON ASSOCIATION.

FROM THESE RECORDS WE CAN LEARN ABOUT THE LIVES OF THE WOMEN INVOLVED, AS WELL AS THE RISE AND DECLINE OF THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT, AND THE GROWTH OF WOMEN’S SOCIAL AND PUBLIC ROLES SINCE 1876.

DIGITISATION PROJECT
WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE COMPLETION OF THE FIRST PHASE OF OUR DIGITISATION PROJECT.

17 VOLUMES OF OUR EARLIEST PERIODICALS FROM 1883-1901 HAVE NOW BEEN DIGITISED. THESE SEARCHABLE FILES WILL BE A VALUABLE TOOL FOR RESEARCHERS - AND THEY ARE AVAILABLE TO VIEW ON-SITE BY PRE-ARRANGED APPOINTMENT WITH OUR ARCHIVIST.
