OUR ARCHIVE COLLECTION CONTAINS THE RECORDS FROM OUR FORMATION IN 1876 AS THE BRITISH WOMEN’S TEMPERANCE ASSOCIATION, TO THE PRESENT DAY AS THE WHITE RIBBON ASSOCIATION.

FROM THESE RECORDS WE CAN LEARN ABOUT THE LIVES OF THE WOMEN INVOLVED, AS WELL AS THE RISE AND DECLINE OF THE TEMPERANCE MOVEMENT, AND THE GROWTH OF WOMEN’S SOCIAL AND PUBLIC ROLES SINCE 1876.

DIGITISATION PROJECT
WE ARE PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE COMPLETION OF THE SECOND PHASE OF OUR DIGITISATION PROJECT.

ANNUAL REPORTS FROM 1876 - 1949 HAVE NOW BEEN DIGITISED. THESE SEARCHABLE FILES ARE A VALUABLE TOOL FOR RESEARCHERS. THEY ARE AVAILABLE TO VIEW ALONGSIDE OUR EARLY PERIODICALS ON-SITE BY PRE-ARRANGED APPOINTMENT WITH OUR ARCHIVIST.
