OUR TOPICS
WE COVER A RANGE OF DIFFERENT TOPICS AS PART OF OUR CAMPAIGN TO TEACH PEOPLE THE EFFECTS OF ADDICTION. WITHIN EACH TOPIC, WE PROVIDE A PLETHORA OF FREE RESOURCES FOR CHILDREN, TEENAGERS AND ADULTS TO GET THE FACTS AND INFORMATION THAT THEY NEED.
ALCOHOL

Our section covering alcohol includes resources such as display boards and leaflets. Not only do they include information on alcohol in itself and how it can affect the body, but also other elements such as driving under the influence.
GAMBLING

In our gambling section, we provide resources such as display boards and a leaflet. We also have a section which provides links and phone numbers to organisations that can give anyone the help that they or someone they know might need.
SMOKING

Our Smoking section includes resources such as display boards and leaflets. On top of tobacco awareness, we also provide resources that cover other areas in similar categories such as vaping and shisha.
DRUGS

Our drugs section contains a range of resources such as display boards and various leaflets. Not only do these cover drugs generally, but they also go into specific substances and how they can affect you; including driving under the influence.
MENTAL HEALTH

New to White Ribbon Association coverage, our Mental Health section includes both a display board and a leaflet. In addition, we provides phone numbers and links to organisations that can give you any support that you might be looking for.
CHILDREN’S SAFETY

We have an extended section on the website covering Children’s Safety topics. These include: Peer Pressure, Medicine Safety, Money Management, Keeping Healthy & more. On top of display boards, we also offer a range of activities such as: Word Searches, Maze’s, Colouring Sheets and much more.
VIDEO GAMES & ONLINE SAFETY

We now also have a section dedicated to video games and online safety. In particular, micro-transactions and loot boxes within video games – and how they can not only be harmful, but also considered as a form of gambling, particularly to children who are vulnerable to them.
GENERAL AWARENESS

Finally, we also have a general awareness section, which contains leaflets on a range of different topics including Festival Safety and Holiday Safety.
