Health Champions Scheme

The Health Champions scheme is for young people who want to make a difference!

Since establishing the scheme in 2009, we have been successfully engaging with young people between the ages of 11 to 18, by encouraging and supporting them to deliver their own peer to peer health awareness events.

Our Development Officers provide their knowledge and experience to help empower young people to become Health Champions, who then take the lead in deciding which campaign to focus on within our four core topics of drugs, alcohol, tobacco and gambling. To accompany the campaign, your students can also loan a number of our interactive resources which enhance learning experiences (subject to availability).

Becoming a Health Champion gives young people new skills, as well as the confidence to run their own projects and engage with their peers. At the end of the campaign, all Health Champions will receive a Health Champions branded goodie bag, for recognition of their hard work.

Book onto the health champions scheme!

Please note we currently cover the West Midlands area only. If you live outside of this area and would like our Development Officer to deliver the Health Champions Scheme, please contact us to check if we can accommodate your request as there may be additional charges.
