As we approach the darker months road safety is paramount for little children, and to promote Road Safety Week (co-ordinated by Brake), we have developed an age-appropriate information display, aimed at Key Stage 1 and 2 children.

We want to support all young people to live a healthy, active life, and they shouldn’t be discouraged from walking or cycling because the winter is upon us.

The display addresses some of the main issues young children must be aware of to ensure their safety. As well as reinforcing the Green Cross Code which most young children will be familiar with, it also highlights some important walking and cycling advice using attractive and fun characters to help get the vital messages across.

Our displays have been sent out to several libraries and community venues during the months of November and December, and if you are based in the West Midlands and North West areas you can loan a display for free (including delivery and collection).
