During October the white ribbon Association will be supporting Stoptober, challenging smokers to quit for 28 days throughout October.
Our free Community Health Information displays have been sent out to libraries, schools, community venues, and workplaces across the West Midlands and North West to promote the event and encourage people who have been thinking about stopping smoking.
There is a range of support available to help smokers during Stoptober. From mobile apps to free quit kits, online forums, and a text message helpline service.
If you’re a smoker, it’s not too late to join the Stoptober challenge! Sign up today at the Stoptober website.
However, if you aren’t quite ready to make the next step, you can apply for a free quit kit from the Smokefree website at any time.
