On 1 January, Dry January began. The annual campaign, co-ordinated by Alcohol Concern, supported over 2 million people cut down on their drinking in 2015, and this year hopes to be even more successful.

After the excesses of Christmas and New Year, Dry January comes at the perfect time for anyone who may have overindulged to give their body a break from alcohol. Even for those who drink moderately the campaign is an opportunity to raise money for Alcohol Concern; a valuable charity committed to reducing alcohol-related harm.

The benefits of joining Dry January can be tremendous, not only for a person’s wellbeing but for their bank balance as well!

  • No hangovers
  • Heathy looking skin
  • Better sleep
  • Weight-loss
  • Better mood
  • More money

To get involved with Dry January, for more information on the benefits, or for fundraising and non-alcoholic cocktail ideas, head to the website and sign up. It’s not too late to join!
